What do the twins notice about Sleeping Beauty's kingdom when they arrive, and how does this help them to access the throne room?

As they come closer to Sleeping Beauty's castle, the twins notice that all of the trees and plants in the area appear to be sleeping. Even the people in the village near the castle prefer to sleep although the spell on Sleeping Beauty and her kingdom has been lifted. This makes it easier for Alex and Conner to get into the castle and to go directly to the throne room where Sleeping Beauty is sitting.
