When it is Conner's turn to give his presentation, he twists The Boy Who Cried Wolf into talking about how the villagers should not have expected the boy to behave and therefore, what happened to the boy at the end is the villagers' fault. The other children are amused by this, but not the teacher, leaving Conner to feel bad about what he has said.
