Before the final rally Laurie and David had the following conversation: ”‘Laurie, is it possible that we’re wrong about The Wave?’ David asked. ‘No, David, we’re right,’ Laurie answered. ‘Then why doesn’t anybody else see it?’ he asked.” How would you answer David’s question?

I would answer David by telling him to look around and see the hysteria that the wave has caused: it isn't "normal" or healthy.
