Is Susan temporary for ada?

Susan is meant to be a "temporary" or foster mother for Ada and Jaime, but in reality, she becomes her mother. After Ada and Jamie are taken back by their real mother, Susan realizes how much she loves the children and how important they are in her life. She also comes to see her own importance in theirs. Thus.... she follows the children and brings them home with her.... she is not temporary.
