What is the narrator point of view in the novel, The Thursday Murder Club?

Two different points of view are used in this novel. The majority of the story is told by a third-person narrator. The third-person narration, however, is interspersed with diary entries written by Joyce Meadowcraft, who writes in first person directly to the person who might read these entries.
