Where does Richard Sloat attend boarding school in the novel, The Talisman?

Richard Sloat attends and lives at the Thayer private boarding school for most of the year. The school itself serves as an archetype of law, order and conservatism and such is opposed to everything that the character of Jack stands for in the novel.
