What does Genji decide to tell To no Chujo about Tamakazura? Why?

Genji feels the need to tell To no Chujo that Tamazakura is his daughter and not Genji's. Tamakazura's grandmother has become very ill and may die. Genji sees that it must be fitting for Tamakazura to mourn her grandmother's death.
