.
.
Redwall Abbey is described as a high-walled structure made of red stone. It has a set of main gates as well as several smaller gates in the walls, and is well guarded. Inside live many peaceful creatures of all kinds, primarily hedgehogs, squirrels, mice, moles and otters. They are fond of feasting and singing and tend to large gardens and fields to keep their food supplies well stocked. The Abbey is surrounded on three sides by Mossflower Wood, and on one side by flatlands that extend down to the sea.
