Were robberies and murders still being comitted by the Cooler Killer after Hinton was convicted and incarcerated?

Every week, there was another robbery in Birmingham that fit the same as description as the other restaurant robberies and murders. The suspect was always described as a Black male, five foot eleven and 180 pounds. The same description as the victim, Smotherman's, even though Hinton was 230 pounds and six foot two.
