Patton French is a sleazy lawyer who agrees to talk to Ray about the case Judge Atlee heard in Biloxi. French told Ray that he gave Judge Atlee the $3.1 million that Ray found hidden in the house as a thank you for the huge settlement that he ordered. French credits the Judge’s ruling with the millions of dollars he has earned since that time on tort lawsuits.
