Importance of Crocodiles

Crocodiles symbolize the Strange Bird’s fears and constraints. She is constantly surrounded on her mental island by crocodiles. They force the Strange Bird to stay land-borne and stuck in her tree. Also, the crocodiles exist in the Strange Bird’s laboratory habitat. In the laboratory, the crocodiles function to keep the Strange Bird locked away.
