The Song of Roland
What is Ganelon's argument against the condemnation for Roland's death? Does anyone believe the tale and support Ganelon's cause?

Ganelon claims that Roland cost him a great deal of money and property. Therefore, Ganelon had every right to seek vengeance upon Roland. Vengeance is not a crime. The governors and nobles, save one, believe Ganelon. Charlemagne does not.
