What is the landscape of Wyoming like?

Wyoming's landscape consists mostly of big valleys. These valleys spread out over the 1,600 mile area of the state and grow into mountains on all sides. The definition of Wyoming is at the great plains, but in reality there are no plains in Wyoming.
