Katherine Parr was Henry's sixth wife. Twice widowed, Katherine was the perfect wife for Henry's twilight years. She was caring, intelligent, and loyal.... something Henry hadn't had a lot of throughout his lifetime. Katherine also brought all of Henry's children to court and acted as friend and mother to children who'd been separated from their mothers and fell in and out of favor with their father. In the end, Katherine kept her head and buried the King, taking Elizabeth under her wing.
