In Sea of Monsters, Annabeth is remaining invisible using the cap of invisibilty. She claims to be 'nobody' which is the word that Odysseus used when the baited Polyphemus. Thinking that this is his arch rival, Polyphemus focuses on her and allows the others time to get Clarisse and Grover and get away.
