What are the major conflicts in "The Red Pyramid"?

When Julius Kane summons the five Ancient Egyptian gods to destroy the Rosetta, he is attempting to bring back his wife. Unfortunately, the god of chaos appears, captures him, and subsequently disappears with him.

The major conflict in The Red Pyramid revolves around the antagonist, Set, and his desire to take over the world. Set is constructing a pyramid, through which, he will aquire the strength to destroy North America.
