Analyze the theme of social life in The Rainbow.

This is a broad question.... are you referring to the different characters' changes in status and the social life that status affords them? Or Anna's desire to return to the "world" and begin her social life again after her honeymoon? Or the changes in the characters themselves.... their values over the course of the novel?
