Mia's mom is rather eclectic. She is married to Mia's algebra teacher and they are expecting a baby. Mia's mom was in love with Mia's dad, but refused to marry him because of the rules she would have to live by as a royal. After they broke up, Mia's mom found out she was pregnant with Mia, but never tells Mia's father.
