Lilly Moscovitz is Mia's best friend. Both of Lilly's parents are psychoanalyists. Mia has a crush on Lilly's brother, Michael. Although the two are best friends, Mia begins to realize in these journal entries that Lilly tells her boyfriend, Boris, things that she does not tell Mia. For instance, Mia is disturbed to learn during a taping for a session of Lilly's television show, Lilly Tells it Like it Is, that Lilly has French-kissed Boris.
