Who is Number Seven (aka Marina) from The Power of Six and what is their importance?

Number Seven, Marina, is the eldest of the orphans staying at the St. Teresa convent. She is decribed as a loner, who doesn't fit in with the other children. Over the course of the story, Marina learns that her Legacies, something she hides are actually gifts. As Number Seven, she has both telekinetic and healing capabilities.
