Describe the plan Philip devises to get more work done on the cathedral before the visit from Bishop Henry.

Philip sends word to all the parish churches inviting people to come work on the cathedral on Whitsunday and any Sunday thereafter. Anyone who works will receive a full pardon for all their sins as well as food and drink. More than 1,000 volunteers come to work at the priory.
