Why do Noa's parents kick her out of their home in the book, The Orphan’s Tale: A Novel?

While living in Holland, Noa has a one-night stand with a German soldier. When she becomes pregnant, she is kicked out of her home by her parents. Noa goes on to live in Germany, thinking that she will find a better life there.
