In Chapter 10, what does the narrator see outside the window when he wakes in the night?

When then narrator wakes in the night, he looks out the window. There he sees an old woman, probably Old Mrs. Hempstock, walking up and down. She has a big long stick she is leaning on as she walks, like a staff.
