Describe the narrator's dream in Chapter 3. What does the narrator discover when he wakes?

The narrator dreams that boys and old men are chasing him. They hold him down and force his mouth wide open. Then a waxwork of his grandfather pushes something sharp and glittering into the narrator’s mouth. When the narrator wakes, he is choking and discovers a silver shilling wedged in his throat.
