Who is Richard Keaton from The Neutronium Alchemist Conflict and what is their importance?

Richard Keaton is a data security expert. He helps Joshua to track down Mzu on Nyvan. He is later revealed, however, to be not all that he seems, as the possessed's fire cannot hurt him. Richard claims to have lived for a very long time, and to be not entirely human. When Joshua escapes the planet, Richard stays behind, explaining that his cover has been blown. Exactly who or what Richard is, and what his existence means for humanity, is still a mystery.
