Who is Erick Thakrar from The Neutronium Alchemist Conflict and what is their importance?

Erick Thakrar is a CNIS officer, who is assigned to an undercover mission on the Villeneuve's Revenge. His original mission is to investigate Duchamp and determine if he knows the location of an antimatter base. He is, however, distracted from this task by the emergence of the possessed.
