Who is Chad, and what connection does he have to the excavation site in the play, The Mound Builders?

Chad is the son of the landowner where the dig is taking place. He is the landlord to the summer house where the archeologists are staying and takes care of the upkeep of the building and land. He is also friends with Dan and is involved with both Cynthia and has had a relationship with Jean.
