The Most of P.G. Wodehouse
How did Freddie develop his dislike for cats as noted in The Most of P.G. Wodehouse?
.
.
In "Farewell to All Cats," Freddie's weekend at the Prenderby family estate, Matcham Scratchings, is described. At the estate the family kept a great number of animals. In his room, on separate occasions Freddie found a cat scratching up his shirt and a dead cat lying on his bed. His response was to throw the cats out the window, but both times he had the misfortune of hitting Lord Prenderby.
