The Moon and the Yew Tree
What is the rhyme scheme in the poem, The Moon and the Yew Tree?
.
.
There is no rhyme scheme adhered to in the verse. Sylvia Plath writes in a largely free verse, using grammar somewhat atypically, but nonetheless still within the conventions of mid-twentieth century English verse. Em dashes are used in three different instances in the poem to segue abruptly into the next line within the same stanza.
