What had Max done after buying new school clothes?

Unfortunately, members of his family took his new clothes. His sister swiped his sunglasses. His mother wore his necklace. His father wore his pants. This killed the coolness for him. His baby brother Oliver wrote all over his Air Jordan sneakers with a marker, making them useless. In Chapter 7, Max was taking his little brother Oliver to the park to play. While Oliver was off having fun, Max looked for a bench to sit on while reading his comic book. He found an old man sleeping on a bench wearing all of his clothes that he had got for school.
