The most significant of all the places which Nora visits via the midnight library would be Cambridge, where she lives with Ash and Molly. It is the only dream-life in which she manages to feel truly happy. For Nora, Cambridge symbolizes everything she is missing in her root-life: love, security, fulfilment, and interdependence.
