What was Kelly's role in the demise of the boa constrictor?

Kelly was still upset that the snake was anywhere in the house. She sneaked downstairs and secured the lid firmly on top of the snake's tank, making sure that he couldn't get out but also eliminating his only air supply. The next morning the snake was dead. Everyone thought he drowned in his water but Kelly knew what really happened.
