Another patient who had been receiving chemo for a while told Kelly about some of the side effects she had, including weight loss, mouth sores, pain in her extremities and numbness in her fingers. Catherine intervened and told Kelly that everyone has different reactions to chemo. After four hours, she and Edward left and told each other it wasn't that bad.
