Describe the saga of Kelly and her desire for Guess jeans when she was in high school.

More than anything, Kelly was dying to have a pair of Guess jeans. But at over $50 a pair, Mary refused to buy them for her daughter. To earn her jeans money herself, Kelly got a job at The Limited at the mall. But Mary would not allow Kelly to drive to and from the mall by herself and Mary wasn't about to drive her. Kelly was enraged that she would again be denied the chance to have a pair of Guess jeans. But Mary relented and got her the jeans as a Christmas present.
