Who is Kurt Heibert from Mayday! and what is their importance?

Kurt Heibert is Erich's brother. He served as an aviator in World War I and was killed after being shot down by the British and crashing into the Aegean Sea. His death was a direct result of a trick the British played on him by flying a decoy balloon filled with explosives and a dummy in uniform in the basket. Kurt believed the balloon as an enemy and turned his guns on the hydrogen filled balloon. When he was close enough, the British detonated the explosives, damaging his plane and causing the crash.
