The Magnificent Ambersons
How is George, Isabel and Wilbur's son, described in the novel, The Magnificent Ambersons?
.
.
Isabel spoils her son from birth, no prodigality of care, attention, or caressing is too much. He cannot err and the best is barely good enough for him. Not surprisingly, George at the age of nine is a "princely terror." Despite "his silk sash, and silk stockings, and a broad lace collar, with his little black velvet suit," George brooks no opposition from anyone, enforcing his superiority with insolent manners, precocious japes, street badinage, and flying fists.
