In the story, Siberian Tiger Park, reading serves as a source of imagination because it allows the girls to live out a different fate. The girls read animal atlas’, like A Day in the Life of the Siberian Tiger, that they memorize and recite by heart. In this way, books become a source of life for the girls in the story, enabling them to escape from the school and into another world.
