How does the author use foreshadowing in The Loved One?

In Chapter Five, Dennis quotes Keats and Aimée has never heard the famous passage, thinking Dennis wrote it. This foreshadows the hoax that Dennis will perpetrate on her by letting her think he authored many verses written by famous poets. Already, the purity of their attraction to one another is compromised by lies and manipulation.
