Why is bed 1A supposed to be such a good bed?

Leo is delighted to bed 1A. Despite that it belonged to a boy that has recently died, he loves that it hasa stereo in the head board, a game console in the footboard, a fridge under the bed and the bed's controls at the sides. It even retracts to a room in the cellar below.
