How did Siegfried get Biggins to followhis instructions?

Siegfried got Mr. Biggins to follow his instructions by tricking him into it. He injected a cow with vitamins, and told Biggins that if the tablets the cow needed were not given, then the cow would die. It was not true, but it saved the cow's life.
