Who is Sister Benedicta?

Sister Benedicta appears to be the nun in charge at St. Bridget’s Sacred Heart. She refuses to give William any information about his mother after she pulls his file and shows him a form that his mother signed stating that she gave up all rights to her son and that she would have no further contact with him. Sister Benedicta tells William he should be grateful for the parents who adopted him and forget about his birth mother.
