Sheriff Bosworth is the Sheriff of the Talladega Falls bodies. The book opens with Bosworth talking to Joe Quinn. Bosworth doesn't want the responsibility of the case with so many bodies. Bosworth is the character who tells the reader who Joe Quinn is. Bosworth does have his men looking for more bodies. His men are more familiar with the terrain.
