Who is Mr. Bernard Selelipeng from The Kalahari Typing School for Men and what is their importance?

Mr. Bernard Selelipeng works at the local diamond company. He is a married man, but his wife works in another city, so they spend a great deal of time apart. When Mma Makutsi begins her typing school for men, Mr. Selelipeng is one of her first students. In time, he confesses a growing affection for Mma Makutsi, and they begin dating. Mr. Selelipeng's wife, however, then visits to the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency to hire Mma Ramotswe to learn if her husband is cheating. When Mma Ramotswe stumbles on the truth, she diplomatically makes it all right without injuring anyone's emotions.
