Who is Julian Campbell from The Husband and what is their importance?

Julian Campbell is one of Anson's friends. Mitch is told that Campbell is an ex-FBI agent who has made a fortune in private business. Campbell, however, is actually a pornographer, who uses Anson's computer program to move illegal child porn over the Internet. It is Anson who pulls a gun on Mitch and hands him over to Campbell and his men. They then put him in the trunk of a car and take him to the desert to be murdered. Mitch escapes and later turns evidence on Campbell, sending him to jail.
