Who is Sara?

Sara Sundqvist is a resident of 25 Krebs’ Street. She is in her early twenties, and is a stunningly gorgeous blonde in Oslo for college. A Jewish orphan, Sara is nervous, insecure except in her sexuality, and discovers that Olesen is living in the same building, and seeks his help in finding her parents without knowing at first his actual role in things. Sara follows clues across Norway and Sweden, but never learns the truth about her parents until K2’s investigation into Olesen’s murder. At 25 Krebs, Sara begins an affair with Kristian Lund, ultimately choosing to break up with him during the investigation. At the end of the novel, Sara forgives Andreas for his role in the death of her parents, thanks him for saving her life, and ultimately seems poised to begin dating K2 at the end of the novel.
