The authors showed that the bloodline of Guillem de Gellone produced Hugues de Plantard and Godfroi de Bouillon, who in turn created the Priory of Scion. Although Godfroi and his descendants were Catholics, the authors believe the reason for their Catholicism was an attempt to survive in a Christian world.
