Who is Brutus "Brutal" Howell from The Green Mile?

Brutus (Brutal) is one of the guards on the block. He has been working with Paul for years, and he absolutely despises Percy. Brutal often has to be held in check when he runs into Percy, but he is a good guard who honestly cares about the men.
