Who are the Inconquistables in the novel, The Green House?

The Inconquistables are a gang of seemingly carefree unemployed youths, who roam the streets and bars of the slum La Mangacheria. Lituma, Bonifacia's husband, and her seducer, Josefino, are members of the group.
