What does Rand find when he tries to leave the castle?

Rand goes to have his horse saddled and is told that he cannot leave. There have been orders given explaining that no one should leave. It is explained that the order came from the master of the castle but Rand seems to believe that it is connected with the arrival of the Aes Sedai.
