Maps symbolize other opportunities. Donne famously uses this symbol again and again in his poetry to represent the world and the desire to experience other lives. In the context of "The Good-Morrow," the speaker rejects the concept of maps because nothing in the world could be more satisfying than being with his lover in a "little room" (11).
